I’m sharing a card today with those cute Bunny Friends, and this time they’ve been decorated with flowers!
Make sure you read to the end of this post, as I’ll have details about a great sale that is happening this weekend (expires 25 March 2018)!
I began by stamping the pattern of flowers. I put all the small flower images from the Bunny Friends stamp set on to an acrylic block. I used a pale grey ink and stamped the flowers repeatedly on to a piece of white cardstock to create a pattern.
I also stamped the pattern on a card base, just on the lower half as the top will be covered later. I blended on some distress oxide inks in tattered rose and picked raspberry, to give the card base some soft colour.
Next, I stamped three of the bunnies in black ink on the piece of white card, over the pattern of flowers. I chose some copic colours and coloured in just the flowers within the bunny stamps. I then die cut them with the coordinating dies.
I used a die from Scallop Border die set to trim down another piece of white cardstock, before layering it on the card base with foam tape.
I used the same distress oxide inks to add colour to some card stock, then I die cut the Happy Easter Shaker die from it. I cut out the words and adhered them to the card at the top. I then added the three bunnies underneath. I finished the card with some pink blush jewels to add some sparkle.
I love the look of these patterned bunnies. It’s definitely a technique I will try again with different stamp sets.
