Tonic Studios Wonderful Wishes Release Online Party

Hello and welcome to my blog! I’m so excited to be joining this online party, celebrating Tonic Studios Wonderful Wishes release!

My cards today feature the new Jolly Marshmallow Snowman stamp set from the Wonderful Wishes release. I think this set is great for Christmas cards but also the sweets and mug can be used for other occasions too.

CARD 1

I began with my background. I used Nuvo Glacier Paste in Haute Red and a Nuvo silicone spatula to add a stencil pattern to the right edge of a card base. I then set this aside to dry for 24 hours.

Next, I stamped images from the Jolly Marshmallow snowman stamp set with Nuvo Black Shadow ink. I coloured the images with Nuvo Alcohol Markers, then cut them out. I’ll list all the colours at the end of the post.

On a white card panel, I embossed a sentiment from the set with gold embossing powder. I then adhered the panel to card base, adding a thin gold glitter card strip between panel and patterned edge.

I used liquid adhesive to add the mug and foam tape to add the marshmallow snowman. For some finishing touches, I added Nuvo Crystal Drops Morning Dew on the snowman’s buttons and nose and Nuvo Glitter Drops White Blizzard drops around scene.

CARD 2 

For my second card, I began by masking a panel of white card stock. Using a rainbow of Nuvo Hybrid inks, I added a blend across the card.

Using a clear embossing powder, I used an image from the Jolly Marshmallow Snowman to emboss a subtle snowflake pattern over the ink blending. I stamped a sentiment from the set underneath, then adhered the panel to a card base.

Next, i stamped images from the Jolly Marshmallow Snowman stamp set with Nuvo Black Shadow ink. I coloured the images with Nuvo Alcohol Markers, then cut them out.

I arranged the images on the card, securing with liquid glue or foam squares. To finish, I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops in Morning Dew on the stars and some glitter pen and white pen details to the images.
