Pretty Pink Posh October 2019 Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog! I’m excited to be joining this blog hop, celebrating the Pretty Pink Posh October release!

If you’re following along the blog hop, you should have arrived here from the amazing Jennifer McGuire. I’ll list all of today’s blog hop participants below, if you want to start at the beginning.

My card features the new Joy set and the Winter Frame die. I love these sets for making quick cards that have that WOW factor. This card is super sparkly in real life – it’s tricky to capture the full effect in photos.

I began by die cutting the Winter Frame die from white glitter card. I adhered this to a white A2 top folding card base.

Next, I stamped the large Joy stamp with copic friendly black ink and coloured in with my copic markers. I used the coordinating die to cut out both the stamped letters and also a dark grey set of letters to layer behind as a shadow. This helps the letters really pop on the card.

I adhered the letters to the card, then stamped a sentiment from the same set underneath.

To finish, I added my favourite Pearl White jewels around the frame and some glitter pen details on the letters.

  31. What a beautiful card. I love the gray cut out behind the Joy to make it pop on the white card. The glitter card stock frame just makes the card stunning.
