Spellbinders September 2020 Clubs Inspiration Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog! I’m excited to be joining this blog hop, sharing inspiration using the Spellbinders September 2020 Clubs! 

If you’re following along the blog hop, you should have arrived here from Ivana Camdzic. I’ll list all of today’s blog hop participants below, if you want to start at the beginning.

For my card, I’ve used the Glimmer Hot Foil kit. This kit is available separately as a monthly subscription and as part of these Value club options: 

I’ve created my favourite style of card for this hop, clean and simple, using the September Glimmer Kit. Glimmer hot foiling is perfect for CAS cards, as the beautiful foiled detail is all that’s needed for your card to shine.

On a slimline card panel, I began by foiling the rainbow outline from the September Glimmer Hot Foil kit. I used Speckled Aura foil, which is a beautiful holographic gold foil.

Under the foiled rainbow outline, I foiled a sentiment from the September kit using the rainbow foil. This foil is so pretty!

On another piece of white card, I foiled the four rainbow pieces for the kit, using the rainbow foil again. I find it easier to foil these pieces apart from each other, then die cut them all separately using the die in the kit.

I layered each rainbow piece on a plain die cut, to add some dimension, then adhered them on the foiled rainbow outline.

I adhered the panel to a slimline card base, then added some Pretty Pink Posh jewels in rainbow colours to finish.

  19. Beautiful slimline card! I would never have thought to put that size glimmer die cut on a slimline card, but the delicate shower of jewels is pretty and looks great!
