Hello and welcome to my blog! I’m excited to be joining this blog hop, celebrating the fabulous new release from WOW!

If you’re following along the blog hop, you should have arrived here from Ericka Strange. I’ll list all of today’s blog hop participants below, if you want to start at the beginning.
Card 1
I chose the Toteally Amazing Trio for my first card.

I die cut the Merry word die, from the Hello Bluebird Bold Holidays set, five times from white card. I secured the letters in the die cut by using some purple tape at the back.
I inked each die cut with clear embossing ink, then embossed them with the powders from the Toteally Amazing Trio. To get a variation in tone across all 5 die cuts, I embossed two layers of powder on 3 of the die cuts. The other two die cuts have 1 layer of embossing.

I removed the letters from the die cuts. I won’t be using them on this card but can keep them for other cards. I then adhered the panels on a card base.
To finish, I added a white heat embossed sentiment on a black card strip. The sentiment is from the Hello Bluebird Typed Christmas stamp set.

Card 2
I used the beautiful WOW Forever 13 trio for my second card, to make a sparkly Christmas night sky.

On a white card panel, I used the WOW Mixed Media Embossing Brush to add stripes of ink. I then sprinkled on the different powders from the trio, layering some to mix the colours. I used the dual speed heat tool to melt the powders, then I adhered the panel on my card base.
Next, I die cut the Lawn Fawn Little Town Border from white card. I layered some pearlescent gold card behind the doors and windows.

At the bottom of the panel, I embossed a greeting from the Hello Bluebird Rooftop Reindeer stamp set, using Metallic Gold Rich Pale superfine embossing powder.
I finished by adhering the house border to my card with foam tape to complete my wintery scene.

Your Merry card is lovely. Blue is a favourite Christmas colour and it looks lovely in the different shades on your card.

I love both of what you created using the embossing powders but I love how the sky background looks on the second card you made behind the houses. Reminds me of aurora borealis. Stay safe and thank you for inspiring.

Love that you were able to change the tone on the first card by adding more powder, it looks like a completely different colour! The embossed sky is gorgeous on the second card.
