I’m sharing some tags I made with fun stamps and standalone dies from Pretty Pink Posh, who is the sponsor today. Here is a link to today’s post so you can see lots of fabulous Pretty Pink Posh inspiration.
I love that it’s easy to turn most critter stamp sets into a Christmas theme, just by adding a Santa hat. I’ve used two of my favourite Pretty Pink Posh critter stamp sets on my tags today – Playful Puppies and Cuddly Cats.
The Santa hats are from the Reindeer Friends stamp set and the presents are from the Birthday Friends stamp set. I coloured all the images with copic markers, then die cut them with the coordinating dies. To add some Christmas sparkle to the hats, I added some WOW Embossing Girl’s Best Friends Sparkles glitter.
To create backgrounds for my tags, I made some gel printed backgrounds using distress oxides and stencils from Pretty Pink Posh. Here are the combinations I used:
- Pink tag: Whimsical Christmas Stencil with Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick, and Aged Mahogany distress oxides
- Blue tag: Christmas Background Stencil with Speckled Egg, Evergreen Bough, and Broken China distress oxides
I die cut two tags from these prints, using the Stitched Duo 1 die set. I layered these over white card tags for stability, then used a hole punch at the top.
From white glitter card, I die cut the Tree Shaker die. I layered these over a white die cut tree, then adhered to my tags. I added the die cut images on top with foam tape, then finished my tags with some silver ribbon.
