Pretty Pink Posh May 2021 Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog! I’m so excited to be joining day 2 of the Pretty Pink Posh May release blog hop! 

If you’re following along the blog hop, you should have arrived here from Adelle Emery. I’ll list all of today’s blog hop participants below, if you want to start at the beginning.

My card features the new Spring Circles stamp set, along with the You Are Special Script die set. These circle scenes look so lovely together and it’s great to see some older Pretty Pink Posh favourites in the bees and hummingbird.

I stamped all the circles and coloured them with copic markers. I decided to not add a colour in the backgrounds, to keep the CAS look. On many of the circle scenes, I used one of my favourite pink copic combos of R81, R83 & R85.

I die cut the circles with the coordinating die, then added two more circle die cuts behind each scene for dimension.

For the sentiment, I wanted to combine a stamp and die from the new release. The stamped part of the sentiment is from the new Flower Bouquets set. I masked off part of the sentiment so I could stamp just the ‘You are’ on my card base.

On a piece of card, I used my R85 copic marker to add colour. This is a fun way to get the perfect card stock colour to match. I die cut the You are Special Script die from this, along with two more layers and stacked them together for dimension.

I adhered my circles on my card base, trimming away any parts that overhang the card base. I then adhered the sentiment in the centre to finish.
