Pretty Pink Posh September 2021 Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog! I’m so excited to be joining this blog hop, celebrating the Pretty Pink Posh September 2021 release!

If you’re following along the blog hop, you should have arrived here from Jeanne Jachna. I’ll list all of today’s blog hop participants below, if you want to start at the beginning.

My card features the Elegant Pumpkin die. This die looks beautiful with paper piecing but I also love the look of it when used as an outline only focal point.

I die cut the Elegant Pumpkin die 4 times from white card. For the bottom layer, I added some stick-it adhesive before die cutting, to make it easier to adhere to my card base without any mess.

To add some colour to my card, I die cut some card strips in autumnal colours, using the Simple Strip die set. I adhered these directly to the square card base, then adhered the Elegant Pumpkin stacked die cut on top.

For the sentiment, I embossed the large Autumn greeting from the Falling Leaves stamp set, in copper pearl embossing powder on white card. I used the coordinating die to cut it out, adding a couple of layers behind for dimension.

I stamped an accompanying sentiment from the Falling Leaves stamp set, then adhered the stacked word above to finish.
