Today I’m sharing cards made with products from the Spellbinders It’s My Party Too Collection.
I’m using the Glimmering Hooray set and the Floating Balloons embossing folder on my cards today.
Card 1
For my first card, I began by embossing a piece of pearl white sparkle card stock with the Floating Balloons embossing folder.
I used colouring pencils to add a pop of colour to some of the balloons. The sparkles in the card stock give the balloons some texture.
I cut the panel down to an A2 size and adhered it to a top folding card base.
Next, I foiled the Glimmering Hooray hot foil plate with Speckled Aura foil. I used the coordinating die to cut it out, adding some extra die cut layers behind for dimension. I added it to my card to finish.
Card 2
For my second card, I embossed the Floating Balloons embossing folder on both pearl white and pink sparkle card stock.
I lined these up and trimmed them to be the same size. I then cut them across the middle on a diagonal.
I took a piece of each of the card stock (the other pieces can be used on another card), and adhered them to a top folding card base. I added a thin strip of satin gold mirror card stock along the join of the two pieces.
Next, I foiled the Glimmering Hooray hot foil plate, this time with matte gold foil. I used the coordinating die to cut it out, adding some extra die cut layers behind the dimension. I adhered it to my card along the edge of the gold strip to finish.
