Colour Blocking
Today I’m sharing a card featuring colour blocking, which is definitely one of my favourite looks. I’m teaming it with navy and rose gold, a favourite colour palette of mine. I took a piece of Lawn Fawn Blue Jay cardstock, and trimmed it down to create two panels. On one panel, I added some stencil… Continue reading Colour Blocking

18th Birthday with Texture Two
Today I’m sharing a card I made for an 18th birthday. I wanted to create a fun patterned background so chose the Flora and Fauna Texture Two stamp set. I die cut a stitched rounded rectangle from white card, then stamped different patterns from the set with some MFT inks. To add a pop of… Continue reading 18th Birthday with Texture Two
Hooray for Balloons
I love big sentiments on cards and the Neat & Tangled Hooray is so fun! That font is gorgeous and works so well as a focal point. I teamed it with the balloon duo stencils, also from Neat & Tangled. These stencils are really clever. I began by using the stencils to add balloons across… Continue reading Hooray for Balloons

I die cut the letters for 'happy birthday' from the MFT Black and White basics paper… Continue reading Big, Bold, and Gold Happy Birthday

I'm bringing that autumn feel to the blog today, with a card perfect for those fall birthdays. On a piece of card, I blended on inks in autumnal colours. I then… Continue reading Autumn Leaves
Distress Ink Butterfly
I got out the distress inks for today's card. I cut a piece of watercolour cardstock to fit a card base, and from this, I die cut a Lil'inker Stitched Butterfly. This set is great as it adds stitching detail around the negative die cut as well as the positive cut, making it very versatile.… Continue reading Distress Ink Butterfly
