Sketches

One of my favourite sources of inspiration are card sketches. They are a fabulous starting point for a card, especially when I feel I’ve lost my crafting mojo.

As I often like to revisit favourite designs of mine, I decided to turn some of my cards into sketches to share on my blog.

I’ll keep adding to this page as I create more sketches. All sketches will include a link to my card that inspired the sketch.

How to use sketches

Where you see elements in the sketches, like rectangles, circles, stars etc, these are just starting points to spark inspiration.

Use different shapes, patterned papers, replace them with stamped images, die cuts, embellishments…. there are many possibilities.

A note on saving and sharing

You are welcome to save these sketches to Pinterest. You can also share them in a blog post if they’ve been used to inspire a project.

I’ve saved all the sketches to Pinterest. Here is a link.

Please link back to my blog so others can find the original source.

If using these sketches as inspiration for projects shared on Instagram, don’t forget to use the hashtag #sketchesbygemma as I would love to see your creations.
