Hello Bluebird Joy & Peace

Today I’m showcasing the new Joy & Peace stamp set from Hello Bluebird. I love the layering style images in this set.

I used my Altenew ink cubes for all the stamping. I began by stamping the first layer of holly leaves. This is one large stamp so is quick and easy. I stamped lots of these, with the help of my stamp positioner. I then die cut them with the coordinating die.

Next, I created a die cut template in order to stamp the berries and second layers. By placing the negative space of the template in your stamp positioner, you can slot the die cut holly leaves images in place and only have to line up the berries and second layers once.

I also stamped some of the other leaves and die cut them with the coordinating dies.

For the background, I embossed the Cozy Plaid background stamp with WOW Pearl Gold Sparkle embossing glitter. The background is very sparkly in real life.

I layered the holly images with blank die cuts behind, to add dimension, then adhered them on to the card.

As well as the Joy & Peace stamp set with coordinating dies, Hello Bluebird also released the Joy & Peace Words standalone die set. I love how the standalone die cuts layer over the word dies from the coordinating stamp set to give a shadow effect.

I die cut the coordinating word dies from white card, then layered the standalone die cuts over the top, cut from red glitter card. I adhered these onto the card to finish.
