I’m sharing a card today featuring some beautiful products from the Pretty Pink Posh March release! The bundle is available today in the Pretty Pink Posh shop, with individual products available on March 1st.
The Decorative Eggs set features four different egg shaped dies, perfect for layering on cards. I decided to make them into jewel shakers for this card. These jewels are also new for the March release.
I die cut all four dies in the set from white card. I also cut two more of the simple stitched egg, to use as bases for the eggs.
I blended on some ink on all of the pieces, giving them an ombré look.
Next, I layered some acetate behind the top pieces, then a layer of foam tape to create space for the jewels to go. I added some jewels in matching colours to each of the eggs – sea glass, pansy purple, and shamrock green – then added the backs to the eggs.
Before adding the eggs to a card base, I stamped a border image from the new Sparkle Dot Patterns 2 stamp set. I used a very pale pink ink, and stamped the border three times.
I added jewels from the same colours over the stamped dots with a liquid glue, leaving room for the shaker eggs to go next to them.
I love how sparkly this card is, it makes me smile!
