Pretty Pink Posh Tropical Toucans

Today I have a card showcasing some of the fabulous new June release from Pretty Pink Posh. These cute birds and the branch are from the Tropical Toucans stamp set. I love the size as it means I can fit all three of them on my card together.

I began with the background. I taped the new Triangles stencil over a panel of white card and inked over it with a clear embossing ink. I then heat embossed it with WOW Long Island Teal embossing glitter. I then adhered this panel to my card base.

Next, I took a panel of white card and die cut the Stitched Pieces die from it. I stamped a sentiment from the Tropical Birds stamp set onto the panel, then adhered the panel to my card base with foam tape.

I stamped images from the Tropical Toucans and Hibiscus Flowers stamp sets, colouring them with copics and die cutting with the coordinating dies. I used BV08, BV23, and BV02 as an fun alternative to greys for the toucans.

I arranged the images on my card, adhering with a mix of liquid glue and foam tape. I finished by adding some jewels to the centre of the flowers – Flamingo Pink on the hibiscus and Marigold on the smaller flowers.
