Today I’m excited to be sharing my first card as a member of the Rachelle Anne Miller Digital Stamps Design Team!
If you’re new to digital stamps, check out my post with some tips on using them.

For my card today, I used the My Pet Dinosaur digi stamp. I printed the whole image at 100% onto white card. I also used photoshop to remove the dinosaur and boy images from the background so I could print them separately. This is a bit like selectively stamping a regular clear stamp.
I coloured the dinosaur and boy with copic markers, then used my ScanNcut to cut out them out. Alternatively, you could fussy cut these images.

Next, I prepared my card base. I took an A2 top folding card base, then trimmed it down to be around 3.5 inches in height. This allows me to add more height with the dinosaur image but still fit the card in a standard envelope.
I trimmed down the white card panel, with the whole digi image on, to 4.5 wide x 2.75 inches high. I cut the height down at the top, losing most of the neck and head of the dinosaur. This will be added back later. I added some colour to the ground with copic markers.

On some navy blue pearlescent card, I heat embossed a sentiment in white from the Lawn Fawn Rawrsome stamp set, then adhered that to my card base.
To add some interest, I used a deco edge border die from Lil’Inker Designs (now discontinued) to cut the edge of my white panel. I added a black edge too, then adhered it onto my card base.

Finally, I adhered the dinosaur and boy to the card over the top of the printed images. I popped them up with foam tape for dimension.
I love how the dinosaur pops up from the top of the card, which makes him look really tall.
