Spellbinders July 2023 Clubs

Today I’m sharing a cards made with the Spellbinders July 2023 Glimmer Hot Foil and Stitching clubs.

Club Details

The Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil club is a monthly subscription and a great way to build your collection of glimmer plates and foils.

You will need the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil machine to use with this subscription, plus a compatible die cutting machine. I used my Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine. A list of compatible machines is available on the Spellbinders website.

The Stitching Die of the Month is a new club for 2023. It’s a great way to add detail and texture to projects.

Glimmer Hot Foil Club

This month, you get the Glimmering Christmas Flora set, with 3 hot foil plates and 3 cutting dies.

I foiled the large panel with Polished Brass foil on pearl red card, then used the die in the set to cut out the centre.

On a piece of pearl white card, I foiled the pretty sentiment from the set with the same polished brass foil.

I added foam strips to the back of the red panel, then adhered the sentiment panel to show through the centre. Then I adhered these to my A2 card base.

To finish, i adhered some Pretty Pink Posh Pearls, in Metallic Gold and Ruby Red colours, around the sentiment.

Stitching Die Club

This month, you get the Stitched Snowflake Card Front, with 3 cutting dies.

I die cut the large cover plate from some pearl red sparkle card. This adds some pretty detail to the A2 panel.

The snowflake is die cut from a pearl white sparkle card, and I used gold metallic thread to add the stitching details.

I adhered the panel to an A2 card base, followed by the snowflake on top.

For the sentiment, I used the hexagonal dies from the add on set, called Tiny Merriment., to cut some satin mirror gold card. This sentiment fits perfectly in the centre of the snowflake.

Finally, I finished by adding some Pretty Pink Posh Metallic Gold jewels to the snowflake.
