Today I’m sharing a card made with products from the Spellbinders Classic Christmas Collection.
I’m using the Christmas Bird Poinsettia die set, along with the Christmas Die & Glimmer Sentiments set on my card today.
I began by die cutting the pieces from the Christmas Bird Poinsettia die set from different colours of card stock. Once I had all the pieces cut out, I adhered the bird, poinsettia and candy cane pieces.
Next, I die cut a piece of patterned paper to fit an A2 card base. I adhered this down, then added the die cut images (apart from the bird).
As the name suggests, the Christmas Die & Glimmer Sentiments set combines both foiling and die cuts to create different Christmas greetings.
I foiled the ‘greetings’ word with Matte Gold foil on white card. I used the coordinating die to cut out the foiled greeting. This leaves a space for the die cut part of the sentiment. I die cut the word Season’s from red sparkle card and adhered this one top.
I added a couple more layers behind the sentiment for dimension. I adhered the sentiment at the top of the card, then adhered the bird to sit on top of the candy cane and slightly overlap the greeting.
