Today I’m sharing a cards made with the Spellbinders August 2023 Glimmer Hot Foil and Stitching clubs.
Club Details
The Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil club is a monthly subscription and a great way to build your collection of glimmer plates and foils.
You will need the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil machine to use with this subscription, plus a compatible die cutting machine. I used my Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine. A list of compatible machines is available on the Spellbinders website.

The Stitching Die of the Month is a new club for 2023. It’s a great way to add detail and texture to projects.

Stitching Die Club
This month, you get the Stitched Snowflake Card Front, with 3 cutting dies.
I die cut the cover die from a pearl white card stock. I used Papermill Direct turquoise and purple card stock for the leaves and flowers.
I adhered the cover panel to a light purple card, then added this to a card base.
Next, I added the stitching details. I chose tone on tone embroidery floss. I decided not to add stitching to the smallest flowers, instead layering them for dimension.
For the centre die cut sentiment, I used a pearlescent light purple card, adding two additional layers behind.
Glimmer Hot Foil Club
This month, you get the Overflowing Floral set, with 2 hot foil plates. The large floral plate can be used in a variety of ways to get different looks.
I foiled the image on the edge of an A2 piece of watercolour patterned paper, using Champagne foil.
The set comes with a sentiment, but I decided to use another plate from my glimmer collection. I foiled this with Pink foil.
I added some detail with a Lawn Fawn double stitching die, then adhered the panel to a landscape card base.
