Pretty Pink Posh August 2023 Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my blog! I’m so excited to be joining this blog hop, celebrating the Pretty Pink Posh August release!

My card features the new Halloween Mug Additions die set, along with the Large Boo Script, Sentiment Strips: Halloween stamp set and the Sentiment Strips die set.

I began by working on the Frankenstein mug. This was so much fun to create. I die cut the mug from the Winter Mug die set, then the pieces to make Frankenstein from the Halloween Mug Additions die set. I added some fun googly eyes too.

Next, I cut a mini slimline panel of light purple card. I then blended on distress oxide inks in dusty concord and wilted violet. I left the centre of the panel ink free to show the light purple of the card. To darken the edges, I added some distress ink in black soot.

---

To create the sentiment, I die cut the Large Boo Script from black sparkle card. The additional sentiment is from the new Sentiment Strips: Halloween stamp set, heat embossed in white on black card. I love the new Sentiment Strips die set to cut it out too.

For all my images and sentiments, I added a white layer offset behind, so they pop even more on the strong background.

I finished by adding a little spider to the top of the mug and some sparkles around the sentiment. These dies are both from the Halloween Mug Additions die set.
