Today I’m sharing a cards made with the Spellbinders October 2023 Glimmer Hot Foil and Stitching clubs.

Club Details
The Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil club is a monthly subscription and a great way to build your collection of glimmer plates and foils.
You will need the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil machine to use with this subscription, plus a compatible die cutting machine. I used my Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine. A list of compatible machines is available on the Spellbinders website.
The Stitching Die of the Month is a great way to add detail and texture to projects.
For those that want to join multiple clubs and save, Spellbinders offers Value Clubs.
Glimmer Hot Foil Club
This month, you get the Bouquet Full of Joy set, with 5 hot foil plates and 2 cutting dies.

The main glimmer plate in the set is this beautiful winter bouquet. There isn’t a coordinating die for this image, so I decided to foil it with Matte Gold foil on a piece of patterned paper, to add interest to the background.
I coloured the image with copic markers. As the patterned paper is a light colour, I didn’t have any problems colouring over the top. The foiled image will also resist the alcohol marker ink.

I trimmed the panel down to 3.5 x 6.5″ (mini slimline), then adhered it to a mini slimline card base. I added two strips of card along the bottom edge – red and satin gold.
There are a few circle glimmer sentiments to choose from in the set, and there is a coordinating circle die to cut them out. I foiled it in the same Matte Gold foil, on red card stock. I adhered it to the bouquet with liquid glue.

Finally, I foiled the bow with Crimson Stars foil, and cut it out with the coordinating die. I added two additional layers behind for dimension, before adding to the card with liquid glue. I also added some Pretty Pink Posh gold confetti around the card.
Copics

Stitching Die Club
This month, you get the I’ll Be Home For Christmas set, with 7 cutting dies.

The main panel in this set cuts both the background detail and baubles. You can choose whether to use the A2 rectangle die included in the set. It also indents where to add the tree and sentiment panels, which there are separate dies for, so it’s easy to arrange everything.

I die cut the main panel from pearl white sparkle card, the tree from a pearl green card, and the baubles and sentiment from satin gold mirror card. There are additional sentiment options in the set.
I used white, blue, purple and pink metallic threads to add stitched details to the tree and baubles. I also added some silver confetti to the tree.

Before adhering the main panel to my A2 card base, I adhered a piece of the satin gold card behind, so it shows through the die cut details.
I adhered the tree with double sided tape, and the baubles and sentiment with foam tape to finish.
