Today I’m sharing a cards made with the Spellbinders December 2023 Glimmer Hot Foil and Stitching clubs.
Club Details
The Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil club is a monthly subscription and a great way to build your collection of glimmer plates and foils.
The Stitching Die of the Month is a great way to add detail and texture to projects.
You will need the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil machine to use with this subscription, plus a compatible die cutting machine. I used my Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine. A list of compatible machines is available on the Spellbinders website.

Stitching Die of the Month
This month, you get the Stitched Love set, with 13 cutting dies. I decided to focus on the ‘Love’ die as I really like the font style. I also didn’t do any stitching this month, for a different look.
I die cut the word several times from 4 colours of card stock. I cut enough to make two styles of card.
On my first card, I adhered the word several times on an A2 card base, alternating the letters and creating a repeating pattern. By adhering some letters to go off the edges of the card base, it gives a look of a pattern that continues.
On my second card, I layered the die cut letters together for dimension.
I adhered a piece of gold Pearl card to a mini slimline card base, then a deckle edged panel of white card on top.
I arranged the letters on the card, then stamped a sentiment from a Hello Bluebird stamp set underneath.
Glimmer of the Month
This month, you get the My Heart Smiles set with 4 hot foil plates and 1 cutting die.
I went for a tone on tone look for this card. I began by cutting a panel of ivory pearlescent card, then foiled the floral plate twice with gold foil. I adhered this panel to a 5.25” card base.
There are sentiments included in the set, but I decided to turn this into a birthday card. I used a previously released Happy Birthday sentiment, foiling with gold on a piece of ivory pearlescent card and die cutting with the coordinating die. I added two layers behind for dimension.
