Today I’m sharing a card I made with the Waffle Flower Paws Up die set. I loved their recent cat and book themed release, and this card was inspired by one made by Gallina Filippenko.
I’m definitely a cat person. I’ve owned 5 cats since I was a young girl, and currently have a beautiful Maine Coon brown mackerel tabby cat. I created the paws to look like hers.
The card I was inspired by has the paws holding a present. I changed the design to be paws reaching for a birthday balloon.
I created the balloon using a large nesting circle die, and added a balloon tie and string at the bottom using another balloon set. I needed the balloon to be larger so I could add a large number to the centre.
I had lots of fun creating these paws and am looking forward to making more to look like other family pets.
