Today I’m sharing cards made with the Spellbinders April 2024 Glimmer and Stitching clubs.
Club Details
The Spellbinders Glimmer of the Month is a great way to build your collection of glimmer plates and foils.
You will need the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil machine to use with this subscription, plus a compatible die cutting machine. I used my Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine. A list of compatible machines is available on the Spellbinders website.
The Stitching Die of the Month is a great way to add detail and texture to projects. The dies work well with or without stitching, making them a really versatile choice.

Stitching Die of the Month
This month, you get the Stitched Wall Hanging set, with 18 cutting dies. There’s lots of great dies in this set, but I decided to go for a simpler look this time, only using one of the stitching dies.
I die cut the large flower multiple times from white sparkle card, then added metallic gold stitching in the centres.
On an A2 card base, I adhered some green polka dot patterned paper. I then added the stitched flowers on top, trimming away anything overhanging the edges.
The sentiment is from the April Glimmer club. I foiled it on green pearlescent card in gold, then used the coordinating banner die to cut it out. I layered a pearlescent white banner behind using foam tape, then added to the card to finish.
Glimmer of the Month
This month, you get the Sew Amazing set, with 10 hot foil plates and 1 cutting die. You also get a full roll of glimmer foil (colours may vary). The stitching patterns are really fun and look great used together, or pick a favourite for a pretty accent on your project.
I began by foiling all the stitched patterned plates on to pearlescent white card with gold foil.
I adhered this panel on to a white landscape A2 card base, then some pink polka dot patterned paper at the top half of the card base. I added a thin gold metallic strip between the two pieces.
The stitched flower and leaves are from the April Stitching club. I then added a gold foiled sentiment banner, from the April glimmer set, to the card with foam tape.
To finish, I adhered some pearl white jewels around the sentiment.
Over-foiling Tip
I’ve recently discovered that adhesive erasers are brilliant at removing over-foiling, without damaging the foiling you do want to keep.
