Today I’m celebrating continuing on the Pretty Pink Posh design team this term. Head over to the PPP blog for a chance to win!
I’m sharing a birthday celebration card, using the Big Celebration Cupcake die set from Pretty Pink Posh. I personalised this card for my niece’s birthday, as she loves baking.

I picked a colour scheme of red, purple and blue, incorporating my niece’s favourite colours. I die cut the pieces from the Big Celebration Cupcake from various pearl and sparkle card stock. For the fireworks, I cut the posts from acetate, to give more of an illusion of fireworks above the cake.

For the background, I die cut the Pierced Hearts on white card. This gives some subtle detail.
To create a personalised banner, I cut letters from the Love From Afar die set. There wasn’t an I in the set, but I used two T’s instead to create the letter I needed for her name.
