I have a bright colourful card to share today. It features a grid of squares, which is one of my favourite designs when I want to include lots of cute images on a card. I began by inking up a piece of card with a rainbow of different inks. I spritzed them generously with water… Continue reading Playful Cats

Birthday in Space
My card today features one of my favourite stamp sets from last year - Lawn Fawn Out of this World. I’d made some galaxy backgrounds a while back and still have a few left, so began by diecutting a circle of galaxy for my card. I then die cut a larger scalloped circle from white… Continue reading Birthday in Space
Blue and White Brushstroke Blooms
My card today showcases the beautiful new Brushstroke Blooms stamp set from MFT. This is a layering florals set, with solid images, so it’s perfect for creating quick florals with a painted look. My inspiration actually came from an oriental bowl I saw on an antiques programme the other evening! I love the look of… Continue reading Blue and White Brushstroke Blooms
Cheers to the New Year
This year seems to have gone by so fast! Hard to believe we'll be in 2018 in a few short weeks. With that in mind, I have a New Years card to share today. I began with a square card base, then die cut a zig-zag square to go on the top. From that, I… Continue reading Cheers to the New Year
Seven Hills Crafts November 2017 Challenge
There’s still time to join in with the final Seven Hills Crafts Challenge of the year. It’s a colour challenge and I chose the middle palette for my card. I used the Lawn Fawn Winter Alpaca with some Knit Picky papers. I couldn’t resist making a few more cards in different colours too.
The Night Before Christmas
I’ve had a lot of fun making cards for Christmas these last couple of months. I really love the Little Agenda Santa and reindeer as they are so playful. Their small size makes them quick to colour, which is definitely a bonus when making lots of cards. I wanted to create a scene card, with… Continue reading The Night Before Christmas
Belle of the Bauble
Today I have another card to share using the WPlus9 Holiday Trimmings stamp set. I was inspired by the cards I’d seen using this set, with a row of baubles, but wanted to put my own spin on it. This card was simple to mass produce (I made 8 in one crafting session) so perfect… Continue reading Belle of the Bauble
Hippo Bird-Day
I love the MFT Happy Hippos stamp set. Such adorable images and fun sentiments. The sentiment I used on my card today makes me smile every time I see it! I began this card by die cutting a polaroid frame twice from white card. On one of the inside squares, I stamped a scene using… Continue reading Hippo Bird-Day
18th Birthday with Texture Two
Today I’m sharing a card I made for an 18th birthday. I wanted to create a fun patterned background so chose the Flora and Fauna Texture Two stamp set. I die cut a stitched rounded rectangle from white card, then stamped different patterns from the set with some MFT inks. To add a pop of… Continue reading 18th Birthday with Texture Two
Little Agenda Hooray
Happy Saturday! As many of you may know, I’m a fan of a cover die. Especially ones as versatile as the Mama Elephant Grid Window. What I love about this one is the possibilities for different looks, just by cutting it and making larger windows within the frame. For my card today, I've combined it… Continue reading Little Agenda Hooray
