Happy Happy Happy Birthday!

I’ve been wanting some word dies for a while now. I love the ‘Happy Trio Dies’ from Wplus9. Having three ‘happy’ dies allows for a lot of versatility. Use them individually or all together. Positive or negative space allow for even more possibilities.

Here is a card I made using all three dies together.

I wanted to make a female card that wasn’t too girly. I found some fabulous papers by We R Memory Keepers, called ‘Chalkboard’. They have a great mix of colours and include some fab prints in black too. I’m so pleased with these papers and expect they will feature in many future cards.

I created the simple ‘birthday’ banner in Illustrator. It should have been solid black but my printer decided to add a striped effect instead. A happy accident as I really like it!
