I’ve had the MFT Fall Florals stamps and dies for a while but not had an opportunity to use them until now.
I thought I’d use them to make a card for the MFT Colour Challenge 29. It’s a palette of summery pinks with blue and yellow. Not really fall colours but a chance to show how versatile these stamps are.
How I made this card:
I used some Memento dew drop inks in four shades, to match the competition colours. Using flowers and leaves from the MFT Fall Florals set, I stamped a piece of white cardstock to create a background piece. I stuck this to a card base, then rounded the corners.
Next, I cut a piece of vellum smaller than the card base and rounded the corners. I heat embossed a greeting with silver embossing powder, then attached the vellum with some glue dots, hidden beneath the greeting. I added some sequins in complimentary colours to finish the card.
Products used to make this card:
- MFT Fall Florals Stamps set
- MFT Birthday Greetings Stamps set
- Versamark ink
- Hero Arts Silver embossing powder
- Vellum
- WRMK Corner Chomper
