The Altenew Way Too Sweet stamp features ice cream, lollies, and cakes. It’s so fun and perfect for summer birthdays. It’s very different to anything I already have so is a great addition to my collection.
How I made this card:
I stamped the images with Memento tuxedo black dye ink on to white card stock. This ink won’t run when using promarkers or copics. I coloured the images with various colours of promarkers, then fussy cut them out.
For the background, I used the quilted swirl stitched die cover plate on white card stock and cut it down to fit on an A6 card front. I love this die for adding interest to a card without overshadowing the rest of the card design.
I attached the ice cream cone and lollies to the card using foam tape. I added wink of Stella clear glitter to the images for a little sparkle.
The sentiment is from the recently released Avery Elle Sentimental Elle-ment die set. I die cut it out of silver glitter paper, before attaching it to the card using a glue pen.
