I had some die cut flowers and leaves left over from when I made my last ‘fall florals’ card, so this was a nice quick card to make.
How I made this card:
I attached a strip of black and white striped paper to the edge of an A6 card base, then added piece of white card next to it.
I moved the flowers and leaves around on the card until I was happy with the arrangement. I always take a quick photo on my phone so I can remember the layout before I remove the images to add adhesive.
Next, I stamped the ‘birthday’ sentiment on the card, and die cut the word ‘happy’ from black card.
I then added micro dots to the back of the die cut flowers and leaves, and stuck them down on the card, using the photo I took as a guide. I also used micro dots to attach the word die to the card.
To finish the card, I added some sequins.
