I saw an amazing card on Pinterest by Yoonsun Hur at RejoicingCrafts.com that I love so much, I just had to have a go at creating one of my own.
I started by die cutting 6 squares from the Lawn Fawn Stitched Square dies.
I stamped images from the WPlus9 Doodle Buds stamp set with Memento tuxedo black ink onto the die cut squares. I created a mask for each image from full sticky post it notes, and covered each stamped image.
I then blended distress inks in different colours on each square. I love the moment the mask is removed to reveal the clean white and black line image beneath.
I put foam tape behind each image and attached them to an A6 card base.
For the greeting, I die cut from black card one of my favourite greetings at the moment – the ‘celebrate’ word die from the Avery Elle Sentimentals die set.
I decided to keep the rest of the card clean and free of embellishments.
