I love the Altenew range for their realistic floral building stamp sets. I was blown away by how beautiful these peony flowers were when I stamped them for the first time.
I used the Altenew ink cubes to stamp the flowers and leaves from the Altenew Peony Bouquet stamp set. The Altenew inks are sold in sets of 4 mini cubes of tonal colours, which make stamping these layering sets really easy. I die cut the images using the coordinating dies.
On an A6 card front, I used a stamp from the Clearly Besotted Diagonal Stripes stamp set in navy blue.
I played around with the layout of flowers and leaves until I was happy with the design, then stuck them down with micro glue dots.
I used a greeting from the Altenew Oriental Orchid stamp set, stamping it in the same navy blue ink. I used the mini Misti to get a good stamped impression.
I finished the card with some sequins.
I’m entering this card into the following competition:
Very professional! The quality of handmade cards is getting better and better with all the new stamps and dies. Your card is really lovely.

Great color combinations. I need to use navy more on my cards. Love how it looks on yours.
