The final challenge at MFT Camp Create is ‘Stunning Shadow Stamping’. This is one of my favourite card techniques at the moment, especially with Kraft card. I decided today to try a different colour card base instead.
I was inspired by a monochromatic card shared on the MFT blog, made by Stephanie Klauk. I thought I’d make a card in a similar style for this challenge.
I chose a dark purple card base, stamping images first in Hero Arts unicorn white pigment ink, then overstamping slightly offset with Memento Sweet plum dye ink. This creates the shadow effect.
I cut a vellum tag with the MFT Stitched Traditional Tag die-namic, then White heat embossed a sentiment from the MFT Birthday Greetings stamp set. I added adhesive behind the embossed words before attaching the tag on to the card.
I added some sparkling clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh to finish the card.
