Hello 🙂
Today I’m joining in with the MFT Sketch Challenge. I got the wine bits and bobs from the February release and I decided to make a card using them.
I started by die cutting the bottle from the MFT Wine Service Die-namics from a piece of white card. I left spaces for a sentiment from the MFT Uncorked stamp set, selectively stamping the sentiment to make two different lines. The sketch has 6 elements so I split the sentiment to match that.
I trimmed down the card to be a bit slimmer than a card base. Before adding to the card base with foam tape, I stamped a border on the left side of the card base. Not very straight, but never mind!
Next, I blended MFT ink onto the positive die cuts of the bottles. I then added these into the card. This gives a nice dimensional look to the card.
Finally, a few enamel dots in coordinating colours finishes the card. I think this would be a great masculine birthday card, and I never have enough of those!
I’m entering this card into the following competition:
Wow, love your take on this week’s sketch, Gemma! Very creative use of the new MFT Die.
