I’m a bit late sharing this Easter card but better late than never!
I’ve been having a lot of fun with the Mama Elephant Lil’ Painters Stamp Set. The images of rabbits and chicks painting are so sweet!
I made this card for my nephew, and decided to make a pop up scene for the inside of the card too.
I stamped and coloured all the images first, using copics, then fussy cut them all out.
For the scene on the front, I die cut two scalloped rectangles (MFT Blueprints 27). On one, I blended on blue ink, and on the other I blended on green ink. I cut down the green inked rectangle with a MFT Grassy Hills border die, then layered both on to a card base. I added some white clouds (MFT Cloud 9 die-namics), then built the scene with images from the Mama Elephant Lil’Painters stamp set.
Inside, I blended on blue ink at the top for the sky. I cut a piece of card slightly smaller than the card base, used a the grassy hill dienamic again to cut it down, adding green ink as before. I added two pop-up die cuts, then adhered the card inside.
I attached two of the rabbits to the pop-ups, and other images around the scene to finish.
