Seven Hills Crafts July 2017 Challenge

We have a sketch challenge over on the Seven Hills Crafts blog this month. There is still time to play along, for a chance to win a £20 voucher to the store.

For my inspiration card, I kept pretty much to the sketch and opted for a masculine card this time.

I used a MFT rounded stitched frame for the rectangle, just keeping the inside and saving the frame for another card. I cut this from Lawn Fawn Blue Jay cardstock.

I layered this onto a kraft card base, then added some die cut banner flags over the top, cut from patterned papers.

I cut a circle, using a die from the Hero Arts Infinity Circle dies, then stamped the paper plane from the Lawn Fawn Plane and Simple stamp set. I created a mask for the paper plane, so I could stencil some clouds behind it. I also added a short stitched trail behind the plane.

I added this to the card with foam tape, and stamped a greeting next to it. The greeting is from the Lawn Fawn Out Of This World stamp set.
