Today I want to share one of my Christmas card designs for this year, featuring some wonderful Mama Elephant Stamps and dies.
I’ve used the Little Agenda Santas and Reindeers on a lot of my cards this year, so stamped, cut and coloured a ton of them so they were ready for cards.
The background on the card base is a strip of Lawn Fawn knit picky patterned paper. I added a thinner strip of green glitter paper underneath, then adhered them to a white card base.
I die cut several of the Mama Elephant polaroid frames, stacking them up for some dimension, then layering them onto the card base.
On the inside squares, I added some light ombré ink blending using distress oxide ink. I added some different Santas and reindeers to the squares, cutting off any overlap, before adding them to the card base too.
For the sentiment, I stacked some Mama Elephant Merry word die cuts from white card, adding a green glitter die cut on top. Then I die cut one of the speech bubbles from the polaroid die set, layering a white one over a black one, which gives a shadow effect. On the top one, I added an accompanying sentiment.
I enjoyed making this card, so decided to recreate it in different colours.
For this one, I used some paper from the Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Chill paper pack.
Truly stunning design, well laid out and such stunning colouring too. Just found your wonderful blog and starting following. X
