Christmas, Handmade Cards

Christmas Shadow Boxes

I like to make my nephew and nieces a Christmas card each. The Lawn Fawn shadow box die is perfect for making extra special cards.

For two of the cards, I used the Neat and Tangled Santas Ride stamp set. I coloured the images with copics and die cut them using the scanncut. I used different patterned paper for boxes but otherwise, they are the same.

I put Santa at the back of the box as he’s the tallest, then layered the rest of the images towards the front. I finished with some presents on the outside of the box.

For the last box, I used some Lawn Fawn Frosty Fairy Friends. I cut the box and tabs from Lawn Fawn Knit Picky paper.

The fairy near the back is attached with a thin strip of acetate, so she’s ‘flying’. Everything else is attached with scor tape.

Another great thing about the shadow boxes is that they still fit in a standard size envelope. They fold flat for posting, then can be popped up again by the recipient.
