Handmade Cards

Shake It Off

When I saw the images in the Spellbinders Shake It Up set, I could just imagine a chorus line of shakers dancing together. That was the inspiration for my card today.

On a white piece of card, I heat embossed a line of shakers with silver embossing powder. I left a space in the line up for the lead shaker! For this one, I stamped the image in black and added some light watercolour with zig pens. I also added some clear glitter shimmer. I used foam tape to adhere it to the card and complete the line of dancing shakers. Above the shakers, I added one of the fun sentiments from the set.

On a card base, I adhered some blue patterned paper to match the blue of the shaker. I then added the white panel to the card with foam adhesive. I finished the card by adding some blue jewels, sprinkled above the shakers.
