Dragonfly Seed Bead Shaker

It’s the Pretty Pink Posh June release day today! All the sets are now available in the store, individually and as bundles. I’m sharing a card featuring lots of lovely new June release products.

I began by inking a panel of cardstock with tattered rose and picked raspberry distress oxide inks. I cut the panel down with a die from the Stitched Notes set. I chose a greeting from the new Koala Friends stamp set to add to the panel.

I used the Darling Dragonflies coordinating dies to die cut three windows in the panel. I heat embossed three dragonflies onto heat resistant acetate, using versafine onyx black ink and sparkle embossing powder. I then adhered these behind the window.

I used double layers of foam tape on the back of the panel to create the shaker areas, then added the gorgeous new Posh Seed Beads. I used the colours cotton candy, aquamarine and rose pink. I then added a piece of grey glitter card to seal in the shaker areas.

I adhered the panel to a card base, then finished the card with some jewels in pearl white and pink blush.
