Today I’m sharing a card featuring the fun School Friends stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh. I made this card for my 4 year old niece, who recently finished her first year of school. She’s been doing so well so I made a special card to show how proud I am of her.
I chose a piece of patterned paper from my craft stash, and used the colours in the paper to inspire my copic colouring of the images. I added blue as an additional colour. I die cut all the images with the coordinating dies.
Next, I die cut the Storybook 3 die from white card. I layered the patterned paper on a white card base, then the storybook frame on top of that.
Before adhering the inside frame pieces, I added a soft ombré blend of distress oxides to match the colour scheme. I also added a greeting from the School Friends stamp set.
I then layered the stamped images on top with foam tape. The pile of books was a little tall for my card design, so I just trimmed away the bottom two books so it fit better.
I added some finishing touches of Wink of Stella clear glitter and glossy accents.
