Today I’m sharing a card for the WOW Facebook challenge. There is a new theme each month, and this month is RAINBOW. I love creating cards with rainbow colours, so this was a fun challenge to work on.
I began by cutting a white card panel, a little smaller than my A6 card base. I used the Neat & Tangled Balloon Duo stencil with some distress oxides to add a rainbow of balloons to the piece of card.
I allowed the panel to dry, then using an embossing ink and Flora & Fauna Texture 2 stamp set, I added some heat embossed patterns to some of the balloons. I used WOW embossing powders and glitters that coordinated with the balloon colours – Sweet Cheeks Colour Blend, Eggplant Primary Colour, and Calypso and Sunset Boulevard Embossing Glitters.
I added a sentiment from MFT Anything But Basic Birthday Wishes. I stamped it with versafine onyx black ink and heat embossed it in WOW Clear Gloss Super Fine embossing powder.
Some Pretty Pink Posh clear sparkling sequins finish the card.
