Hello Bluebird August 2018 Release Preview

Today I’m previewing some fabulous new sets from the upcoming Hello Bluebird August release. This release is packed full of amazing products and is available to purchase on August 15th!

Ghostly Greetings and Halloween Tree

My first card features the new Halloween Tree die set along with Ghostly Greetings! You will be spoiled for choice with all the Halloween products from Hello Bluebird this month!

I used a distress ink galaxy background I’d previously made for this Halloween scene. I die cut a rounded rectangle frame, then adhered that onto the galaxy background.

I heat embossed a greeting and some stars from Ghostly Greetings onto the background, then adhered that to a card base.

I die cut the cat, a pumpkin and the Halloween tree from black card stock. These dies are all in the Halloween Tree die set. Behind the cat’s eyes and the pumpkin face, I adhered some glitter paper. I then added them to the card, using some black foam squares behind the cat and pumpkin.

I then stamped one of the cute ghosts and the speech bubble from Ghostly Greetings, added some light colouring with my C0 and C1 copics, before die cutting with the coordinating dies. I adhered these to the card with foam tape too.

Autumn Gatherings and Birch Trees

My second card features the Autumn Gatherings stamp set, the Birch Tree dies and Gallery Frame 3.

I created a warm autumn sky on the card base with distress oxide inks, then used a gold perfect pearl water mix to add gold splatters. I then layered the birch trees with the frame from Gallery Frame 3 on top.

The critters are coloured with copics and die cut with the coordinating dies. The Autumn Gatherings stamp set comes with loads of fabulous accessories to add to the critters, and the coordinating dies cut out the characters so their hands can hold on to one of the many food and drink items also included in the stamp set.

I added the tree trunk from Moose & Friends as a table for some of the food items, then finished the card with a sentiment from the stamp set and some Pretty Pink Posh rose gold sequins.
