Today I’m showcasing an adorable new stamp set from the Pretty Pink Posh September release. The Pumpkin Patch Critters feature lots of cute critters peeking out from pumpkins, along with some other pumpkins to build your scene.
I wanted all the critters to feature on my card, so I cut a card base to a non-standard size of 4 x 7 inches. I used a strip of post-it tape to mask off an area of the card, to create a floor. I then blended distress oxide inks to the top portion of the card to create a warm sky. I used squeezed lemonade, wild honey and candied apple.
I flicked the card with a gold perfect pearl mixture and then with watermark which gives the panel lots of texture. I then removed the post-it tape and left the card to air dry. Once dry, I stamped the sentiment from the Pumpkin Patch Critters stamp set with versafine onyx black ink.
Next, I stamped and copic coloured the images from the Pumpkin Patch Critters stamp set, before using the coordinating dies to cut them out.
I die cut the Picket Femce die from black card, then layered that and the critters onto the card. I put them behind the fence and some in front, to add depth to the card.
I finished by adding white and black gel pen accents to the card, along with some jewels in Metallic Gold and the new Espresso colour – both perfect for autumn scenes.
