Today I’m sharing a card for the October WOW Facebook challenge. There is a new theme each month, and this month is SHIMMERS. Shimmers can be anything that shines, glimmers or glitters.
I decided to add some glitter embossing powders to some autumn leaf die cuts. I die cut lots of the Pretty Pink Posh Small Stitched Foliage dies from white card, the blended on some distress oxide inks in autumnal colours.
Using the WOW embossing ink, I brushed the edge of the leaves into the ink pad, then sprinkled on some the following WOW embossing glitters:
I heat set with the WOW heat tool, then layered the die cut leaves on a card base.
I embossed a greeting on the card base from the Pretty Pink Posh Pumpkin Patch Critters stamp set, with WOW Metallic Gold Rich embossing powder, then added a die cut scalloped circle frame over the top.
I finished with some Pretty Pink Posh Espresso jewels.
