Hello Bluebird Rooftop Reindeer

For today’s card, I used the fabulous Hello Bluebird Rooftop Reindeer stamp set. I love the vintage illustrative style of this set. It reminds me of the traditional style Christmas cards.

My idea for this card was to create an embossed snowflake wreath for the reindeer to sit within.

I used the four different shades of gold embossing powders, all from WOW:

I embossed snowflakes from the Rooftop Reindeer set, along with some from Christmas is Coming and Snow Play. This gave me some different sizes of snowflakes to build up a pretty wreath.

I also embossed a greeting in gold using a sentiment from the Rooftop Reindeer stamp set.

I stamped the reindeer and coloured it with Copic markers in E40’s. I then die cut the image and placed on the card with foam tape. To finish, I added some Pretty Pink Posh Ivory jewels to the snowflake wreath.

I love the soft golds of the snowflake wreath, which give the card an elegant look to accompany the sweet reindeer.
