For today’s card, I used the pumpkins from Pretty Pink Posh Pumpkin Patch Critters and the flowers and leaves from the Anemones stamp set to create a vintage style harvest card.
I stamped the images from both sets on to Bristol Smooth card with embossing ink, then heat embossed them with WOW Goose embossing powder, which is a soft grey. Perfect for the soft look I wanted.
Next, I coloured the images with zig clean colour real brush pens and a water brush. These are the colours I used:
Pumpkins
- 61 Brown, 71 Flesh
- 71 Flesh, 68 Blush
- 200 Sugar almond, 220 tea rose, 230 pale rose
- 92 Blue grey, 99 Cool grey, 302 Haze blue
Anemomes
- Flowers: 20 Red, 60 Brown, 92 Blue grey
- Leaves: 49 Green shadow, 92 Blue grey
Once the images were dry, I die cut them with the coordinating dies. For the largest pumpkin, I trimmed away the rabbit to leave just the pumpkin.
For the background, I die cut a Stitched Duo 3 tag, I adhered the tag onto a card base, then blended on distress oxides in spun sugar and tattered rose. For some pretty details, I flicked the card with water and gold perfect pearls.
At the top of the tag, I heat embossed the greeting from Pumpkin Patch Critters with gold embossing powder.
I layered the images onto the card, using liquid glue for all but the pumpkins right at the front, which I used some foam squares.
To finish, I adhered some Ivory jewels around the sentiment, and some Blue Lagoon jewels in the centre of the flowers.
