Rainbow Wow

When I realised I had WOW glitter embossing powders in all the colours of the rainbow, I just couldn’t resist making this card!

The Hello Bluebird Rainbow Sky die is fabulous as the die pieces are all separate. That means you can die cut each piece from a different colour of cardstock or have a smaller rainbow if you want.

I die cut all the pieces from white card, then gathered all the embossing glitters together. These are the embossing glitters I chose:

• WOW Vintage Candy Cane – UK / USA
• WOW Sunset Boulevard – UK / USA
• WOW Pearl Gold Sparkle – UK / USA
• WOW Hercules – UK / USA
• WOW Calypso – UK / USA
• WOW Pacific Wave – UK / USA
• WOW Zeus – UK / USA

I covered each piece with WOW embossing ink, then added the embossing glitters and heat embossed with the WOW Dual Speed heat tool. They are so sparkly!

For the background, I die cut the Hello Bluebird Gallery Frame 2 die from white card. Before adhering this to my white card base, I added a light blend of tumbled glass distress oxide, fading up to white.

I adhered my rainbow to the card with liquid glue, then stamped a sentiment from the Hello Bluebird Rainbow Script set above.

This card is so happy and cheery. It’s sure to brighten anyone’s day!
