Today I’m sharing a card for the April WOW Facebook challenge. There is a new theme each month, and this month is PASTELS.
I used the WOW Pastel Yellow embossing powder to emboss the Basket Case stencil from Heffy Doodle. I kept the embossing loose around the edges for a more distressed look.
Next, I die cut the panel using one of the Heffy Doodle Metric Stitched Rectangles. These are my go-to rectangles for UK A6 cards as I love the stitching detail. I added the panels to an A6 card base.
Next, I embossed on black a greeting from the Heffy Doodle Veggie Patch stamp set, using the WOW Opaque Bright White Super Fine embossing powder. I die cut it with a MFT Slanted Sentiment Strip die and added it to my card with foam tape.
I then adhered some of the cute veggie images from Heffy Doodle Veggie Patch stamp set above the sentiment strip, using foam tape or liquid glue to give some more dimension.
