It’s the final day of the Hello Bluebird Design Team shares, featuring the fabulous April release. Not much longer to wait – it’s available to purchase at 7pm MST today!
Today I’m showcasing the new Fly a Kite set. Packed full of critters and kites, it’s perfect for creating playful scenes.
I took inspiration from a card I made last year, using the Fishin’ Hole stamp set. I flipped the sketch so the largest circle was at the bottom of the card and the smallest circle at the top.
I added some distress oxide ink to my card base for the sky, then layered a Grassy Knoll border on top, to show through the larger circle. I stamped a sentiment on the panel, then added it to the card base with foam tape.
All the images are coloured with copic markers. I added some extra images (clouds and bird) from the new Maverick stamp set, to help build my scene.
