Handmade Cards, Pretty Pink Posh DT

Happy Summer

If you love to create with die cuts, then the new Beach Scene die from Pretty Pink Posh is a must have. It’s perfect for different techniques – you can die cut and colour each piece or die cut from different coloured card, as I’ve done today.

I used the following colours of card from Fun Stampers Journey to build my scene:

I first adhered all the pieces down onto a white card die cut circle, then used liquid glue to add the whole scene to my card base. Alternatively, you could adhere each scene piece directly onto your card base if you prefer.

Next, I die cut the Happy Summer script die from white card a couple of times, layering them together, then added another layer cut from the Chambray Shirt card, to create a stacked sentiment.

I couldn’t resist adding a flamingo from the Tropical Birds stamp set to my scene, placing it so it stood on the sentiment.

I finished by adding some Cornflower Blue jewels around the card, which are a great match for the blue sentiment.
